People told me it was impossible, and it took twelve years. Even now, people don’t believe it. As the CEO of Am Cast, I have implemented, produced and installed the only machine that can produce perfect sand from aggregate rock waste. Next, we are creating a machine called the Twister. It can separate aggregate, plastic, glass and organic products collected by sweeping machines using the power of forced wind.
With a degree in International Finance, people told me to become something tangible like a banker. Instead, I’ve dedicated myself to creating sustainable solutions. I have always been interested in doing things my way. Studying my way, being creative my way and dreaming my way. I have always dreamed to spread my wings and change the world. A lot of my ideas require guts and like any ambitious idea, I encountered a lot of obstacles to find the support I needed. I have always had my strength and the power of never giving up. I have always been stubborn to complete any mission successfully.
Growing up, it was not easy to be me in a society where you are judged based your test scores. I had a love and hate relationship with studying. For myself, I transformed learning from simply studying a book to really absorbing what the professor was trying to teach me. I did this by being curious about it and being a deep observer of all the phenomenon around me.
As an adult, I faced a silent killer and got open-heart surgery. In order to keep me safe, a foundational issue needed to be fixed. I went through the surgery and bounced back. The experience taught me that procrastination is not worth it. Eventually, I was forced to find my power to jump. In the process, I realized that taking the leap is the key to bypass all obstacles.
In my life, family is the center of my legacy. I strive to make my wife proud and encourage my four children to always stay curious. From there, the legacy I am creating extends to the sustainable solutions we are creating at my company and our vision for the US economy and the world’s future. My vision feeds the people who are doing the work to sustain what really matters.
